Hamster Posted February 16, 2009 Posted February 16, 2009 (edited) I've really enjoyed playing this as I got it as a taster for a Fender P. Excellent condition, low set up and plays like butter - fantastic quality for a P bass clone Strung with flats for a classic thumpy sound I can't find anything to fault this bass really Because it's so much easier and safer to ship with a hard case I'll include a free lined hard case which is in good nick In their own words:- Vintage V4 Bass Series Body: Eastern Poplar Neck: Hard Maple – Bolt On Fingerboard: Rosewood Scale: 34"/864mm Frets: 20 Neck Inlays: Pearloid Dot Tuners: Wilkinson® WJBL200 Bridge: Adjustable Pickups: Wilkinson® PB x 1 (M) WPB Hardware: Chrome Controls: 1 x Volume/ 1 x Tone V4 Pickup This classic ‘split coil’ pickup design, powered by Alnico V magnets for maximum low end tone, is very much in keeping with the authentic looks and feel of this style of versatile and capable bass guitar V4 Bridge The heart of a good bass sound lies with the string anchoring, and the V4’s bridge makes sure that’s the way it stays. Face mounted and fully adjustable, the rear loaded strings pass over the V4’s chunky brass bridge saddles for maximum bottom end tone. I'm not sure what the P&P will be - I'll have a look around the couriers to see who quotes me happy. £100 Edited February 19, 2009 by Hamster
rOB Posted February 17, 2009 Posted February 17, 2009 Do you mind me asking why you're selling? Have been looking for a backup bass and have heard the V4 is really nice for the money.

I can't justify having two, no matter how hard I try!
Hamster Posted February 18, 2009 Author Posted February 18, 2009 Bass is under offer, awaiting payment.
MacDaddy Posted February 18, 2009 Posted February 18, 2009 these have been getting a good rep on the budget basses that can do a pro job thread.
rOB Posted February 18, 2009 Posted February 18, 2009 cool, let me know if anything goes wrong and you need another buyer, I'm still in the market for a backup
