My male pal really had the hots for the bass player in Kagagoogoo, after they first appeared on Top Of The Pops.

 

He was really heartbroken when I told him the bass player was a guy.

Thread necromancy...   Saw Nick play with Ellis Beggs and Howard in around '89 when they supported T'Pau.  Liked EBH, pity the second album never came to fruition although it was made available through Nick's website for a while

Saw him play stick with John Paul Jones (yes, that JPJ) in 1999. Great gig.
