EJWW
Hi all,Ā A couple of years ago Bass Guitar Magazine reviewed a fabulous bass which was based on the P bass with 4 strings, a single split coil pickup with just a volume and passive tone control.Ā It was natural finish wood body, and the reviewer gave it a good review. It was around the Ā£1500Ā mark if I remember correctly.Ā I can't remember the name of the company or model. It wasn't one of the well known firms like Sandberg etc. Anybody else recall this wonderful looking instrument?
ead
I thought it was the Fodera one until I saw your price prompt.Ā They were roughly Ā£185,000 or thereabouts. 1

NickA
Hmm, never has GAS for a precision before .... Ā£2300 for a passive single pickup bass mind.Ā Still, better value than a beat up 60s fender.
