GreeneKing Posted February 17, 2009 Posted February 17, 2009 (edited) If anyone would consider a trade with either a Chris Squire CS4001 or a C64S 4001, both immaculate (£2k+) against a Wal fretless give me a pm. I tried Spoombung's Wal and fell head over heels. Peter Edited February 27, 2009 by GreeneKing
niceguyhomer Posted February 17, 2009 Posted February 17, 2009 I never thought this'd happen matey - you were taken by that Wal weren't you
GreeneKing Posted February 17, 2009 Author Posted February 17, 2009 To be honest Alan, I've been listening to some Mick Karn and I love that 'barp' he gets. It's a whole different instrument that I'd like to explore. Tomorrow the jazz fretless gets a workover and a good fingering Kev's Wall was a bit special yes Peter
4000 Posted February 17, 2009 Posted February 17, 2009 I traded my old Pedulla for a Wal Custom once upon a time; regretted it ever after. Your choice though!
GreeneKing Posted February 17, 2009 Author Posted February 17, 2009 I suspect that Wal's carry a myth factor too
Rayman Posted February 17, 2009 Posted February 17, 2009 Wal..........one day I'll have one. Careful you don't regret letting the CS go Pete, it's a rare and wonderful thing. I was listening to "Fragile" today for the first time in about 20 years! Chris sure gets a nice tone on there. I'd give my right arm for a Wal, but to be honest the Progress has suppressed any desire I have in any other basses at all, and not even a Wal would drag it out of my cold dead hands.

GreeneKing Posted February 27, 2009 Author Posted February 27, 2009 I think you are right Jon and I have plans I'll say no more at this point but my search for a fretless Wal has ceased methinks. Peter
