Andyalfa
Great lists both. Best of luck with Rythmn Stick though. Our band want to do it, but just watching the vid of it gives me a nosebleed. Luckily the (girl) singer would be hard pushed to cover Ian Dury so I may be off the hook.
Delberthot
Quite a variety of different syles although if someone called and asked me to do Sit Down by James I would hang up.

chrisba
We do the James song ( easy - E A B all the way through ) and Dakota, which currently seems to be our closing, give-everybody-in-the-band-a-namecheck number. Not hard either, but I need to work out a very short solo in the repeat-to-fade bit, for when the singer says "...and Chris on bass...". If you have any ideas... gary mac
Worked on the three james tracks last night. They all seemed very straight forward, infact Getting Away With It was a good lesson in disipline. It's just four chords repeated over and over and to make it more interesting I initially started putting in little runs etc. But fairly quickly realised it was better just playing the roots and nailing the timing. It's surprisingly difficult sometimes to keep things simple and not try to "improve" it.
