Slick Bass
What amazing craftsmanship, really interesting watching. Be a great acheivement to build your own to your own spec. Think I might have to learn to play a fretless as that looked painful
Skybone
Nice little series, and just goes to show what excellent craftspeople luthiers are in the attention to detail and all that. I was a little concerned when he started gouging out bits of the body, but that's his style, and both the Oak 'board & the flamed Sycamore neck looked fabulous. LukeFRC
I enjoyed those. I love his delivery if not his taste in what makes a beautiful instrument...
DarkHeart
I think they got bored of me asking for a bass build haha There is a custom bass build coming soon! Edited April 13, 2020 by DarkHeart
walshy
Watched it all and enjoyed it. Very informative and man is he tidy! Think he’d have a coronary if he came to my workshop 😂 Makes me want to do a proper luthier course though, I suppose that’s part of their intention. I like the guy, his delivery is really good and quite casual. I’ll keep an eye out for more stuff from them.
LukeFRC
I’ve built a few basses from parts, and for my last build built the body from a lump of wood ... it was fun. The next step would be making the neck too... watching that video makes me think I’ll stick to someone else doing the making from now on!
