Sahweet! How are those scratches BTW?

Hey!

I think they cleaned it up for me as much as they could as they are barely noticeable, also peeled off the protective sheet and looks perfect!

Nice bass. Psycho killer is fun to play along to! Always try and get bands I’m in to do it. The french bit tends to put the singer off though.

i can agree with that french bit 😂

We used to do that. I am also the singer and used to phonetically wing it. This was before computers and stuff. I really felt a twatt when a French girl came in to the pub when we were playing it right enough!

First thing I found the best to do on these is:

1. have it in passive mode (switch towards you).

2. Put the pickup blend to middle (you'll feel it click).

3. Master all the way up.

4. Tone (the extra dial under the master volume) to fully open.

Itll sing then!

I dunno, you don't check on BC for a day or two and all hell breaks loose! ;)

Well, here's another 'old guy' saying welcome to the 'family' @pepsi-abi. I see you've already received a ton of good advice here (oh, yes, I've read through all 17 bl'min' pages! :D ) but it looks like you've also done your homework, too, so enjoy and have fun.

You know what, I'm considering buying a pair of these basses, one fretted, one fretless so I never have to take the ACGs out of the house!

Do it!! :D

Right, you've had this thing for well over 24 hours now.

Isn't it 'bout time you started you're next thread of "Help me choose my first 5 string"? 😁

Congrats on your first bass, lovely looking instrument, but then I’m a sucker for black blocks and binding on a maple neck.
