Pickup sizes on Squier VM Jazz?

Hi all,

Hopefully a quick one - I'm looking at buying a fretless VM Jazz (the one I'm eyeing is an earlier Jaco-lookalike with Duncan Designed pickups) to use as a basis for a project.

Are the pickups in these standard sizing, with the bridge pickup being slightly wider than the one at the neck, or are they both neck-width? I've already got the pickups I want to drop in there, so want to make sure they'll fit!

I don’t know about that specific model but I have a VM77 that had Duncan Designed pickups and regular Fender pickups just dropped in, no mods needed.

Same here I retro fitted some Nordstrand NJ4’s in my (albeit fretted) VM with no hassle at all.

I've got VM modified 70s Jazz from 2015ish.

As above

Standard Jazz pickup sizes, neck slightly shorter than bridge.

The Aguliar Jazz set that I replaced the originals with in fitted absolutely perfectly.
