I need to raise some cash as I want to buy the Fodera thats for sale.

I will sell any two out of these three basses as I honestly couldnt choose between them as to which ones I prefer, they are all absolute quality.

I will post photos later but there are some on the threads here which I will mention.

If the Fodera sells I will probably rethink this.

Sadowsky MV5 Sonic Blue 5 string Jazz bass. See the Sadowsky Porno movie thread its the first bass in there.
I have fitted the VTC in this and will sell for £1100 which is a steal.

GB Spitfire 5 string, the one in my avatar, its also in the GB Porn thread and is a simply stunning bass which plays and sounds superb.
Looking for £1100 for this which is what I paid for it a few months ago. Proel Softcase only with this.

Celinder P bass passive 4 string. This is in the Celinder bass porn thread, 2 tone sunburst and as owned by Flanker and LoudnClear.
You will not get a better passive B pass. Its got a lovely slim Jazz bass neck that makes it super playable and nails the P sound to a Tee.
Looking for £1400 for this which is what I paid for it recently when I bought it back off Terry.

Would prefer to meet halfway rather than ship but wouldn't rule it out.

As I am after money no trades unless you have a Fodera ;-)

Thanks for looking

Steve

No Worries Dave, I have too many basses anyway so if one sells in the meantime it wouldnt be the end of the world.

Let me know if there is any change in your situation.

Thanks

Would you ship the Sad to Portugal? If so, gimme a few days to see if I can dig up the money.

That GB is also very nice, but can't find pics of it anywhere. Do you have a full frontal shot of that babe? What guts and pups does that thing have?

I've recently shipped two large and heavy basses plus big Yamaha cases to Portugal Steve, via Interparcel. No problems and good pricing too.

Great stage colour Sonic Blue - looks brilliant with the good old traditional 'all black' clothes style in a functions band ;)

Go for it ! I'm in the process of selling my GB Rumor and my Wal bass because I just bought a Fodera Monarch VW 4. Amazing basses. Never thought I would part with ether of these basses ! Good luck with the sale.

Were you the one that sold the 2 yamahas to Paulo? He's a good friend of mine, and owner of this behemoth in my avatar. ;)

The yamahas are great basses, you should see them now that the paint was sanded off, the TRB 6 is beautiful.

PS Ignore the strap, fortunately that didn't come with the bass ;)

You can't buy a better Precision than Celinder IMO and this is a lovely example.

I'm gassing for it too but have no dosh and nothing left to trade! (Except a gorgeous strap I bought a few years ago ;) )

Hi There, Sorry I missed your previous request in all the excitement as I have been getting lots and lots of PM's.

I would possibly ship to Portugal yes but would prefer a more local deal and it looks as though the Sadowsky may be sold. I will update the thread as soon as I know more.

Thanks and Apologies,

Steve

The sadowsky is causing some major financial flatulence[/quote]

Hi Russ,

North Birmingham, Sadowsky may be sold, will know soon I think.

Thanks

Not necessarily and at the moment its still for sale. I think the PUPs and Preamp are Bernie's standard from around 2004 which I believe are the same as now apart from it doesnt have some of the extras such as the tuning pitch and metronome.

I will drag out some pics...

I hear his preamps are mighty complex, what are the specs on them?

haha, you should have kept that TRB-5P man, such nice scale and a very clean tone, it got sanded too, Paulo claims it opened up the sound a bit, plus the maple beneath looks killer now.
