Chris Dow
Playing bass since I was 17 now 66 and still at it. Played semi pro for the last 40 yrs and now retired but still keeping the hand in. Play almost everyday with a Korg Pandora so as not to annoy the missus. Front room is still packed with gig gear ie Gallien Kreuger 800RB (The Tank), 2X12" GK Neo cab and a Mark Bass 2X10" Combo. Basses include 1978 Fender Jazz, a Tokai Jazz Fretless (Jaco Style), 1996 Musicman Stingray, 5 & 6 sting Ibanez 505/506 and a beautiful Irish Made Thompson 4 string. I also play a bit of Irish trad on Bouzouki/Mandola and Tenor Banjo. Edited April 4, 2020 by Chris Dow mis spelling

machinehead
Welcome Chris. I'm 100 miles north, in Belfast. Also playing for a long time (50 years!) and semi-retired, but still gigging every week. Before the virus anyway. Frank.
SpondonBassed
Welcome Chris. I enjoyed a few years living in Dublin during the eighties. Blues nights in the Harcourt Hotel basement were a favourite.
