Mykesbass Posted April 5, 2020 Posted April 5, 2020 Looks like he's reading the part? Certainly enjoying himself! Great part played very nicely, thanks for posting. Quote
mep Posted April 5, 2020 Posted April 5, 2020 I've played this in a couple of bands. A great song and fun to play. Quote
Lozz196 Posted April 5, 2020 Posted April 5, 2020 Probably my fave Elvis song, and a good possibility that’s due to the bass line, one of Jerry Scheffs finest. 1 Quote
jezzaboy Posted April 5, 2020 Posted April 5, 2020 Sorry Lozz, it was Emory Gordy who played on this. If I remember right they only played the track twice and it was done! Quote
MacDaddy Posted April 5, 2020 Posted April 5, 2020 Thought it was going to be the baby elephants... Quote
Deedee Posted April 6, 2020 Posted April 6, 2020 Beautifully played. I love this song and bassline. In fact this is definitely one I would add to my 'Songs that cheer you up' selections. 1 Quote

gt4ever Posted April 6, 2020 Posted April 6, 2020 It’s a great baseline to play, Elvis always had great musicians around him. I always enjoy this tune when we put it in our set, the pentatonic run down towards the end adds a nice touch too. Quote
BrightonianBass Posted April 6, 2020 Posted April 6, 2020 The drummer in this band always makes me smile!! 1 Quote

A joy to watch Bruno TAUZIN is a great French bass teacher, dispensing lessons online or home (not for the moment, of course). He has written loads of methods and has many endorsements. Way far better and focused than some heavy talkers, and more humble too. Yes, he's reading while playing and always plays with this face and head movement...
