Ringworm Posted February 19, 2009 Posted February 19, 2009 Howdy. I'm selling/trading my custom made 5 stringed fretless bass, made by Aleš Vychodil (http://www.avbasses.com/). Here are some photos and the specs: 5 string fretless bassguitar 34 " scale (864 mm) Neck through body construction. Semi-hollow body construction (sound cavities in body) Neck: 3 piece Wenge lamination, Ebony Fingerboard, 24 frets. Side dots 2,5 mm exactly on fret position. AV Bass headstock shape for 5 string 3L+2R tuners. Padauk wings with sound cavities, flamed Maple Top all over body. Small holes on top only. Finish: Satin Matt Lacquered finish, solid colour Polyester. Body in white colour with central black stripe (top and back). Wood of neck and body not visible. Hardware: Black wooden bridge (Ebony). Separate black string retainer. Wooden Knobs coloured to white. Black Gotoh tuners. Pickups: 2x Kent Armstrong Soapbar Pickups 5 Electronics: 1x Volume with Push /pull for switching off active electronic. 1x Pickup Balance (magnetic pickups). 3x EQ Pots (bass, mid, treble range) for both type of pickups. 1x knob for switching coils as Single/Phase/Humbucker. Running on one 9V battery. Output Jack 6,3 mm stereo. Price: 1200eur It has got 2 years and 3 months and I'm trading it because I couldn't adapt to a fretless. It has an incredible output due to being semi-hollow (you can almost play it unplugged and my 30W practice amp barely handles its power on loud volumes) and is in pretty good shape, except for some wear out on the knobs and small dings. I can provide more photos, if needed. I'm from Lisbon (Portugal). Any question, just ask. Thank you.
edstraker123 Posted February 19, 2009 Posted February 19, 2009 That looks lovely - good luck with the sale.
BigBeatNut Posted February 22, 2009 Posted February 22, 2009 Looks like it might be just right for me, but Lisbon is a bit too far away to drop in and try it. Hope it finds a good home. Best of luck.
