tombboy
Just whacked a new set of Picato double ball end strings on it (£25) and spent over three hours cleaning/feeding the neck. Bought it off ebay a month ago as a 'lost cause' as the jack output didn't work. Haven't tried it with a battery though so this may well be the problem. However, the xlr output is fine. Toggle switch (just the toggle bit... the switch is intact) has broken off but easy to replace with a soldering iron and half a brain. Had a few knocks and the battery compartment needs replacing. Currently held on with duct tape. What batteries do these things take anyway? Apart from that and a few rusted screws it works and plays really well. Ooh yes.... it's very black!! Currently go 2nd hand in reasonable condition for anywhere between £170 - £230. Selling to finance a Bass Pod Pro. Anyone with one, I would consider a straight swap. Pictures to follow.... £150 plus p&p (probably about £10-15) No offers. Edited February 19, 2009 by tombboy
casapete
These take your standard PP3/9 volt battery. Last for ages too if you use Duracells!
