voxpop
[attachment=20544:av_1.jpg]Hi Guys, I have a Cyrus AV master in black finish for sale. It is NEW with a sealed box. Retail is £800, will take £550 posted or trade for a 5 string SPECTOR. The Cyrus AVMaster 8 is a unique product and offers outstanding performance. Basically, adding this to a stereo amp will give you a 5.1 Digital Surround sound system. With three (configurable) built in amplifers and a high quality decoder, Cyrus appear to have thought of everything. Even more importantly Cyrus have done so without compromising sound quality; which is what you'd expect from them all along. Cyrus have even provided two direct analogue inputs, which bypass all circuitry other than the volume control. The end result is that when you choose to listen to music; you do so without the compromise that dogs the heels of so many home cinema systems. Sound quality is exceptionally good, to say we are impressed with this unit is an understatement. It allows you to have home cinema and yet still own a good stereo system - without paying an absolute fortune. We applaud Cyrus for getting it right, and at such a reasonable price. Cyrus AV Master 8.0 - Digital AV Decoder Adding a new AV Master to your stereo system brings the latest digital surround sound technology to your home. We have designed the controls so it’s very easy to use, even setup is a simple process due to a wizard on the screen that helps guide you through the setup process. Designing a system around the new AV Master [attachment=20545:av_2.jpg] There are 3 main ways to build a Master Series system around an AV Master. Because you can switch the 3 internal amps to drive different speaker channels, you can use the AV Master in a number of ways and upgrade later as well. Here are some examples; High quality compact system At its simplest, all you need is a Discmaster and an AV Master for a very compact and high quality music and movie system. The AV Master’s 3 built-in user configurable channels of amplification could power your centre, front left and right speakers to provide a 3 channel system, which can have rear speakers added at a later date if you would like to move up to 5.1 surround sound. (Later this year Cyrus will be launching a set of wireless speakers that would fill this role very easily and discretely.) Expand an existing stereo system If you have an existing stereo system (even non Cyrus), you can add the AV Master to upgrade to 5.1 channels. The AV Master’s internal amps run your centre and rear speakers, and your existing system drives the front left and right. If you want a more sophisticated AV experience, then you could upgrade to 7.1 speakers and the internal amps can be re-configured to fit with power amps. The AV Master is now the centre of the system, with up to 6 sources connected, each sounding better because of our advanced up-sampling circuitry. Advanced systems will typically be specified with more demanding speakers, so the AV Master has outputs for bigger power amplifiers to be connected. Adding larger amps may ultimately replace all the internal amps (you can switch them off) with power amplifiers from the main hi-fi range. The largest systems could include many power amps that will aid dynamics and drama. The inherent high performance of both the Master Series components means that even our most compact systems impress because they are built to be more than capable in the very largest installations. The upgrade path ensures that your investment is protected and remains valuable for many years to come. Many of our customers start with small hi-fi systems and once they ‘get the bug’, they keep upgrading over years and sometimes even generations!
