It was ace - think we coveted each other's 'precious things' and sorted a deal. Known Martin for ages - shocked we've only just swapped some gear recently. The Kingbass is a dream. As is the Gigbag/strap to match. And... He lent me a hard case to retrieve a Status Groove. Said case had a big dirty fight during shipping (city link) - and while the bass got a nasty knock, the case was basically left fit for firewood. Gutted, upset and embarrassed, I delivered the bad news. 'sh*t happens - don't worry mate; we'll sort something...IS THE BASS ALRIGHT?!' Legend. Really good bloke to know. Quote
