Withdrawn. Fender LE Roasted Blues American Professional Precision PJ Bass £1200 Darlington

As per title, new in Nov 2019, this bass has never left the house. Still has plastic in the scratchplate. On sale for £1649 at the time.

Plenty of info on t'interweb, but they are based on the American Pro Series, a limited run of only 100 basses for Europe, in 2019. 

P/J with unusual stack knobs, V/T for each pick up. Passive bass. Roasted fretboard & neck (although bit more coloured with Bisto than roasted IMO). 8lb 14oz, original case inc.

Why?  It took me a long time to figure out why I didn't get on with Laklands. Finally worked out it was the narrow tall frets. This has those (although the neck is super!)

Excellent Precision say around 2008, with original case + £400 to me

Excellent Player Series Precision with gigbag + £750 to me

Hm, I have the same. After application of true wiring from 60's JB on pots ( capacitor on P pickup is missing ) - definately became bass I would not sale .... Best Fender neck and P sound ever experienced....

Perhaps it is a bad time to sell but if it doesn't go it's fine. These will not come up often so I'm fairly confident that if I actually need to sell at sometime in the future, it will go. They only made 100 & only for Europe, so, if somebody is looking for one in the future.............

Which blue colour is the most correct? I believe it can be tricky capturing the correct colour temperature with a cell phone camera. (If that was what you used...) The more turqoise blue or the more baby blue-ish?

Digital camera was used, not mobile phone. We had a rare moment of sunshine invaded the garage.

 

It's Daphne Blue (or "more baby blue-ish" as you put it).

I'm really not a massive fan of PJ's, or Pyjamas funnily enough but this is a stunner.
