Colour themed basses and guitars

Sitting at home, as most of us have to, I noticed that my basses and guitars follow themes. I am sure that out there are collections of all blacks or matching red strats and precisions soo thought it would be fun to start a matched guitar and bass theme.

The Taylors and the Gibson are much closer in real life, the photo makes the Gibson looker paler than it is.

Then there are the sunbursts (there is also an amberburst but no matching guitar.

Westones were incredibly good instruments for the money. My brother had both fretted and fretless basses which I borrowed regularly.

 Cheers 👍 It’s a Mike Lull PJ4. I’m a Fender fan, but ergonomically the Lull is the best Fender P that Fender never made!

Doesn’t look like many of us having matching basses and guitars, or we’ve got better things to do in lockdown! 
Come on chaps and chappesses you know you like to show off your gear and we like looking at it.

Do you see everything in black and white @Lozz196? Nice collection of Fenders. I used to have a white fretless Precision- the one I most regret selling 👎☹️

They're not matching but I realised recently that I seem to have a short scale ice cream parlour thing going on.

I prefer black guitars.  All mine are black aside from the ones that are red, green, sunburst and natural.  And a different shade of natural.

Sort of, tho it’s more OCD than anything,, if possible I’d have all my gear the same colour (pref black black maple).

Someone’s nicked the strings off the pistachio one! Can’t trust anyone these days.

Weirdly, I had  just finished fitting D'addario half rounds to it and having a little noodle to settle them in, when I sat down with a cup of tea to browse BC and this was the first post I read. 

I'm currently waiting for the flimsy thing to explode under the tension. 😄
