Muzz Posted November 9, 2021 Posted November 9, 2021 Hoicked up that high, it does look like one of the most uncomfortable basses I've ever seen...a full gig with your left hand stretched out at head height? Ouch... Still a fantastic bass tho...but I know I'd hardly ever gig it... Quote

Rich Posted November 10, 2021 Posted November 10, 2021 I don't think so. He's hitting some very low notes and that bottom string is pretty heavy. 1 Quote

I was sure I read in one of the comics years ago that He & Alembic designed one of the first 5s with Hi C. But yeah All Bios say "First 5 with low B". Think how He could solo with an extra string... !!! (Insert Ducks-down EMOJI) LOL 🤣 Edited November 10, 2021 by Sonic_Groove Quote
Bilbo Posted November 10, 2021 Posted November 10, 2021 Flim has played some nice solos over the years but he really excels in the accompanying role. Check of the first three Wayne Johnson Trio albums (Arrowhead, Grasshopper and Everybody's Painting Pictures'). Great tone but really creative playing. 1 Quote
