carlosfandango Posted February 21, 2009 Posted February 21, 2009 (edited) Hi I hae decided to let go of my EBS Drome 12 combo. Short facts: 150w (but loud watts!), 12" speaker+a tweeter, MosFet power amp, great EQ and lots a very nifty features for the gigging/recording bass player. It has been my main go-to amp for all sorts of gigs the last year....function bands, jazz gigs (it has a greats notch filter perfect for upright bass), small rock gigs...you name it. a 12" speaker + a tweeter Other key features: a very good compressor/limiter, Character switch (solid state/tube), 4 band eq with a sweebable mid freq, balanced XLR-output with spkr-simulator....really good for recording!, headphone jack on the front, effect loop etc. There's a monitor input on the rear panel that let's you connect a CD-player etc - great for practicing. Small foot print and very light ....18 kg me thinks. It is in very nice nick ( I look after my gear) and everything is working properly. I got it from a fellow BassChatter (but I can't for my life remember who!) who used for upright gigs. I think I'm the second owner. Price: £500 (they were well over £1,000 new...) http://www.ebs.bass.se/2007/combos.htm I'm open for PX for studio gear: right now looking for a pair of Mackie HR824 MkII's or Adam P22's. Other items of interest: Fender Telecaster and a better (+£1,000) acoustic guitar. Edited February 21, 2009 by carlosfandango
overwater#1 Posted February 21, 2009 Posted February 21, 2009 (edited) Ahh wow! Now thats the kinda combo i'm after!! You wouldn't be interested in a trade for some Trace Elliot gear plus cash your way at all, this would certainly be properly ideal for the gigs i'm doing! I would probably even swap my v-type combo for this plus cash your way? This would suit more what i'm doing at the moment. Ahwell, I'll keep in saving if not Edited February 21, 2009 by overwater#1
