KingPrawn
Watching Masterchef I drew a comparison between those Michelin star chefs they work with and bass playing. I have decided I'm greasy spoon and a little bit Greggs. Im consistent and you know what you get. The stuff I play is mass market and goes down well, makes people happy. I've got a bit of Waitrose in me but no one ever seems to need it. Your thoughts?
Merton
I’m slightly run down cafe with sloppy inconsistent servings and the apparent demeanour of a lion who’s been disturbed from his sleep, though actually I’m more like Tweetie Pie.
Lozz196
I’m pie & mash, simple, dense & filling. 3
Dad3353
I'm Home Cooking, having substituted some ingredients I didn't even recognise reading the recipe, and I often have trouble with seasoning, rendering the result either tasteless or too salty, or even bitter.

Frank Blank
As someone who plays originals and who is most happy when the response/reaction from an audience is a collective exclamation mark rising above their heads I’d say I’m a baked spud full of jelly.
Ricky 4000
I'm chips cooked in an air-frier. At my best, I can impress those who are very easily impressed. Edited April 17, 2020 by Ricky 4000

Pseudonym
I'm unbuttered, unadorned Ryvita. Plain and adequate, especially when there's nothing else. Occasionally the right dose of austere crispness. On guitar, I'm a fry-up in a four-star hotel. Untidy, filling, and a little bit too arty for most tastes. We all like...every now and then...to have...a bit...of bass. Oooooh, I love a bit of bass. Hmmmm. Oooooh, bass. Oooooh, bass. We LOOOOOOOOOVE the bass. Bass. Bass. Bass. Bass. I'm just one of these people. I come home and I need a bit of bass. Buttery. Biscuit. Bass. 3

Unless you use Branston beans. They are much saucier.

Roger2611
Gastro pub, looks OK, tastes OK but hardly likely to attract a star anytime soon!
bassfan
I’m more Jamie Oliver. Throw it all in confidently, sometimes a mish mash of stuff and hope for the best, usually accomplish the desired result if a little messy at times..... walshy
Good home cooking. Solid, no nonsense and straight forward execution. Everyone enjoys it and won’t complain to your face at least!
mikel
I'm a DIY home cook. Rarely use a recipe, often substitute ingredients for ones I don't have but the finished dish usually tastes good, to me at least. My concoctions may have a flavor of the original, but with a subtle difference. Never wanted a Michelin star. Too much pressure and heightened expectation. People sitting down and thinking "Go on then, impress me". And from what I have heard keeping the coveted star often means the food is pushed to the background and presentation and fancy sauces take over.
