Shockwave
Hey guys. For sale is a Marshall Bi-Amp head and a Peavey bi-Amp cab. The marshall head is awesome to say the least, I have played many gigs with it and has a brilliant neutral tone. Can be used in practically any situation and is pretty heavy duty. Comes with all the usual controlly gubbinz. Presence, Contour, 5 band EQ. Bass volume/treble Volume. Balanced DI, Effects loop. Can power 4 cabs. Has 400 watts of power total. Now for the bad news. One of the two power amps needs a service, both the output sockets on that side of the amp need to be replaced as the sound cuts out when the jack is jiggled vigorously. I have played long gigs without it cutting out however and needs to be properly jiggled to cut out. I havent got the time to get it replaced. Should be a reasonably simple fix though and you guys get the amp for cheaper then i would have sold it for. (I have played the amp like this for over a year with no real headaches concerning this, but thought i should point it out.) Here is more detailed info an schematics of the series. http://www.drtube.com/schematics/marshall/ibs.pdf £100 Pickup from Bristol. (Posted at buyers expense, But would rather avoid posting at all!) PS, I can demonstrate the amp as working. Also for sale is my Peavey Cab. Its a 1x15/2x8 combination cab. With special bi-amp circuitary. With this you can either use all three speakers on one output or seperate the 2x8 and the 1x15 to handle bass and treble respectivly. The 15 inch speaker wasent man enough for the job when i got it, So i replaced it with a lovely 500 watt eminence speaker. This is a fantastic cab in pretty good condition. Due to the weight and the size of the cab. It is pickup only. £120 picked up from bristol. If both bought together (They are a very good combination) I will charge only £200. And throw in the patch leads and speaker leads to connect together! I am very FIRM on these prices. This is a great rig for not alot of money and will not be haggled down. Only being sold as i have bought a new rig and need the space! -Rob. Edited February 25, 2009 by Shockwave
