Recently got a Ric in pillar box red been ages since ive had a Rickenbacker....

Looks like the new designed bridge too..... it has threaded rollers, already changed the string spacing and its an allen key for height adjustment and for intonation when moving the sadles.. Plenty of adjustment room up and down. 👍

Definitely a better design and saves me buying the  new babicz Ric bridge when it comes to market☺️

Now do i get a nordenbocker... 🤔🤔🤔

😁

Have ordered a treble bezel cove then i can play it where i want... Over that back pickup 👍

I would imagine Rickenbacker will offer this bridge as an alternative to grab back  some business from hipshot and babicz 🤔

I wonder if they'll make that bridge for the 5 stringers. As much as I love my 4003SW-5, the Schaller bridge just doesn't have that iconic Ricky look :(

Now that bridge is an improvement. I never really had an issue with the old one, a pain to set, but once done, no real dramas. However, the new one looks the biz. Who says the Hall dynasty don’t listen? 5 stringers, new bridges, what’ll be next?

Wow that’s the cats pyjamas! Great colour and the new bridge looks like a massive improvement. I have a 1980 4001. Great player, but the bridge is a complete derrière ache to adjust.

I absolutely love and hate Rick's in equal measure; gorgeous lines, THAT sound, THAT vibe ...

I owned 2 back in the day and I miss them, and am also glad I got rid of them! So confusing!!!
