Unsure of the origin after all this time, just gave it a whirl in a project bass and it sounds like a P pickup should! Note the lugs are a little rounder on these so can be a tight fit with some scrathplates, easily resolved with a touch of filing if required. Edited May 8, 2020 by bagsieblue
