Ricky 4000 Posted April 24, 2020 Posted April 24, 2020 (edited) Weird. Yesterday I had a brief daydream (for no reason), about a bunch of holes drilled in a bass -- and there it is! 😬 Edited April 24, 2020 by Ricky 4000 Quote
A.G.E.N.T.E. Posted April 24, 2020 Posted April 24, 2020 Wooo... you´re a man of courage! So... how does it balance know? I would have done it differently. I might have drilled the holes from the backside but stoped before they pass to the frontside. Quote

Steve Browning Posted April 26, 2020 Posted April 26, 2020 (edited) Someone has already mentioned Russ Ballard. I remember an early Precision (1956 I believe) being advertised on eBay that looked perfect but the description mentioned it had been heavily drilled underneath the scratchplate to lighten it.
