bassmansky
went into pmt just for a look around and had a go on a couple of squiers.first was the vintage modified telecaster bass.not a bad sound apart from the e string.that was as dull as dishwater.whether it was the string or the set up i dont now.probably a minor problem though.nice neck and looked good but not for me.next i tryed the cv 60's p-bass, which ive tryed before.well that was in a different league to the tele.lovely sound, great neck.superb vfm(£249)only thing i can fault is the tuners seem a bit on the flimsy side.anyway so impressed i bought it!could not really afford it but there you go.the manager told me that he expects fender to increase prices again in the near future so get in their quick! leonshelley01
I've got one and love it. Great P-bass tone, lovely neck and a cool colour too! I had gone in to get a MIM P Bass as I like my MIM Jazz so much, but the Squire just felt nicer to play.

OutToPlayJazz
I had one for a short while & really liked it as well. Best Precision I've played (and that includes my 80 Am.Std. last year!) Only bought it for a one week job & ended up not even using it, but it was a very nice thing. Especially the gloss neck lacquer. Feels like a real quality item. Only quibble is that the neck is slightly too chunky in profile but the overall build quality and sound is very good, as Rich says. I really rate the Classic Vibe jazz bass... danbanbass
Recieved this bass 10am this morning, my what a stunning looking beast. The finish on the body and neck are A-Class, no flaws anywhere. Even the neck gloss colour is right, was worried it was going to be that horrid pine color gloss. Plays spot on out of the box with no adjustment needed, unbelievable. Completely satisfied & surprised. Still can't believe its a squier!

DanOwens
I've put a VMJ fretless neck on a CVJ white body (and vice-versa). I'm actually selling the VMJ body with CVJ tinted gloss neck. They're both awesome basses! Dan
