thumbo Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 Where can I get a decent quality, relatively compact tap-tempo switch to use in the 'control out' on my Boss DD-20? It'll take quite a regular kicking so it needs to be sturdy! Ed Quote
Hamster Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 I reckon a Boss FS-5 footswitch would do the job - but you'll have to read the DD-20 manual to see if it requires a latching or unlatching footswitch. Quote

The FS-5U is as sturdy as they come... and they stick together like lego. Quote
thumbo Posted February 27, 2009 Author Posted February 27, 2009 (edited) change of plan! I've decided to just make one instead. That way I can have the size of casing I want and exactly the kind of switch too. Cheers for the suggestions though chaps. Edited February 27, 2009 by thumbo Quote
BassMunkee Posted March 2, 2009 Posted March 2, 2009 Just get a non-latching footswitch from Maplin. It's all you really need. The Boss ones are extortionate. Quote

Hammond box, non-latching footswitch, mono jacksocket, a bit of solder and you are away! Probably six or seven quids worth... cheaper if you source pots off the bay maybe.
