I use these on all my basses now, great strings.

I've used these on my spare bass before, Cash Converters sell them for £4. They're pretty good (better than rotos!), i'd gig them if i was short on cash. I had a set on my Squier for a bit and while they were never overly bright to begin with they didn't deteriorate as quickly as some other strings i've used.

Didn't know that - I'll try a set. Cheers!

I always justify my pointless & costly annual excursion to Music Live at the NEC by buying a stack of £3 Rosetti bass stings & £1 g*it*r strings. No complaints whatsoever about the quality of either - the bass strings last well & are a damn sight better than Rotosounds.

Just bought 4 lots of x3 packs Hartke strings off this guy and he combined the postage, sending the whole lot for the cost of one sale...

So to confirm that is 12 packs of strings (NOT 12 single strings but 6x4 string set and 6x5 string set) for a TOTAL of £47.96 inc P&P. Put another way £4 for a full set of strings INC POSTAGE!

No brainer really and he has more for sale ending soon. :)

Did you just get the pack of 3 (that takes me back to my youth :D ) or did you buy multiple sets? It works out cheaper in multiples and you could always share the costs with other local bassists (cue 'local' quotes  ).

Just the pack of 3.... and something for the weekend. Never tried Hartkes, so basically a toe in the water. I'll maybe try some others and start a cheapo string Wiki...
