skidder652003
Anyone seen these before? I found them after looking on the Electra website. I bought my son a 1976 Electra Alvin Bishop 335 for his birthday (ok for me really!) and it's a beautiful thing but I didn't realise the company had resurrected itself and did this quite nice looking bass, double P config as well with block inlay neck. https://www.electraguitar.com/pages/electra-phoenix-bass and they stock them in Europe for about a grand which isn't too steep, I'd love to try one. https://www.go4-music.de/de/baesse/e-baesse/electra-phoenix-bass-black-4-string-inkl-gigbag.html
Bassassin
Interesting - didn't know the Electra brand had been revived. Back in the day there were actually two US-based Electras (and an Electa in Australia, but that's another story), the best known owned by St Louis Music. These use the old SLM logo and the headstock shape common on the SLM Electra Westones. The old ones are very rare in the UK & Europe, being a US distributor brand but I do like the look of these - the 2x reversed P setup is very interesting. Great-looking basses too.
Grahambythesea
Headstock shape and logo are hideous!
