QueenBoy
Hi, I was just wondering, I bought a full size hard bass case today and the neck wont fit in properly as the headstock it too far down, I think it's because my bass could be threequater size? So I'm here to ask you which part of the bridge do you measure to from the nut in order to find out the scale length? Thanks, QB
neepheid
Best way is to measure from the nut to the 12th fret then double it. Bridge saddles are moved to compensate for intonation.
mrcrow
yes fret 12 distance from the nut times 2 roughly when the bass is correctly intonated it will be from the nut to the lightest string...G on a 4 string...saddle
