It’s a good pedal, defiantly worth a look. I’d probably encourage you to get the m9 if you can afford it. My reason for this is you can combine the effects on the M9, the M5 is purely 1 effect at a time. The Zoom stuff is great too for entry level and will include amp modelling too. The Boss GT-1b is also a great entry level unit. You’ll probably get a bunch of people chiming in with loads of different options. Do you have a particular budget in mind and are there any particular "must have" effects / other add ons you're looking for from your multifx? javi_bassist Posted May 3, 2020 Share Posted May 3, 2020 I have the M5 and it's fantastic. But it's a one-effect pedal. I use it to try new sounds mainly. It was in my board (I used it as a chorus, as a delay and sometimes as a filter) but the fact that I couldn't combine those sounds and that it required 500mA to make it work it had to go.
