wateroftyne
Hello! There's loads on TB about the Carbine, as they're a bit more common over there. I think a couple of folks have the combo, too... they speak very highly of them.
The Burpster
Its very new over here so you may be the first - I will be VERY envious if you do get one.....
yorick
I've played through the Mesa Venture 2x12 combo which is pretty similar and they sound awesome.
voxpop
Ive got the M6 head and its FAB. Very punchy with a lean, quick and detailed sound and loads of BALLS... Marc Edited March 4, 2009 by voxpop
sk8
i tried the combo at Bass direct and its f***in loud
Etienne
I tried the same one at Bass Direct- it scared (and nearly emptied) the cr@p out of me! The SPL even at half-volume was verging on painful... Anyone who needs more stage volume than that is either Lemmy, or insane. Great amp though...
voxpop
Most people have noticed the M6 has so much stage volume, it can be to much. So, I've just changed the stock Mesa 12AX7-A for a lower gain ( about 70% ) Jan Philips 12AT7-WC. The difference is huge.......a little less volume and a much more rounded focused sound. It has lost a little drive and power but gained a more refined and natural sound. Hope this helps. Marc
