When I transcribe bass lines I raise the song by an octave which makes the bass pop out of the mix. So I play with an octave up on the pedal and that way learn it in the correct fretboard position. Then when I'm working out chords I use the Ricochet an octave up and play bar chords , it's so clean , so precise it's exactly like a guitar. 1
