fretmeister
The Fender Active Flea bass: https://shop.fender.com/en-GB/electric-basses/jazz-bass/flea-signature-active-jazz-bass/0192602728.html The Fender Active Flea Bass (INTERNATIONAL) https://shop.fender.com/en-GB/electric-basses/jazz-bass/flea-signature-active-jazz-bass-international/0192612728.html The first has the Aguilar preamp. The international one is more expensive and only has a Fender preamp. The international model is more expensive too! Why on earth would they not fit the same preamp? wateroftyne
Typo somewhere? The international page refers to the Aggie preamp and the Fender pre.

Could be I suppose. I really like the look of them - especially as the new Stingray Specials have increased the nut width to the point where I don't want one (gutted - I was really looking forward to the new lower weight). But knowing my luck the Fenders will be too heavy. It's not like they will be churning out enough to increase the odds of some super light woods. Have you got any mates in the US who could ship this to you (Jazz width neck) and say it’s a $500 bass https://shop.music-man.com/ernie-ball-music-man-stingray-special-slo-special-hh-black.html Edited May 12, 2020 by Chiliwailer 1

Also: mates - yes. Money at the moment.... errrrrr! I'm trying to plan a major birthday purchase with some saving up time.
