Russ Posted March 5, 2009 Posted March 5, 2009 I've played the sunburst one a few times... great bass. Big tone, comfy neck, great EQ. The 5-string even has a decent low B. I prefer them to the USA deluxe Jazzes. Quote
bubinga5 Posted March 5, 2009 Posted March 5, 2009 (edited) I have the quilted maple 4 string...Very good bass..Loads of bass for the money....Hipshots tuners, SD pups, Push pull passive/active, and a great slap switch, string through body... Edited March 5, 2009 by bubinga5 Quote
pal1972 Posted March 5, 2009 Posted March 5, 2009 ive got the tobacco sunburst quilted maple version and i love it! great feel great sound, and i got it as a 'B' grade from the states, saved me £180 on the cheapest price in the uk at the time!!!! Quote
Golchen Posted March 5, 2009 Posted March 5, 2009 I went to the Gallery a few months ago specifically to try a 5 string tobacco sunburst, but it had been sold. Doh, should have rung first, it's not as if the website can be up to date all the time! Quote

Don't know if I'm interested in buying one... but am interested in the 24 frets on a Fender! Quote
Count Bassy Posted March 11, 2009 Posted March 11, 2009 I'm puzzled as to why/how Fender can say its their first 24 Fret instrument. Both the Urge models have 24 frets and the mk 1 has been around for at least 10 years. Quote
markdavid Posted March 11, 2009 Posted March 11, 2009 Wow , love the look of the black finish , sexy Quote
