6stringbassist
I'm putting together two rigs, a small one based around a mini head possibly a Genz Benz Suttle, and a larger one based around my TC Electronic G-force, both using my really nice sounding Bergantino EX112ER cabs. A problem I've found in the past when using power amps is excessive fan noise, what are these like ?. Will they drive me mad when I'm practising at home, and for quiet gigs with a trio. Thanks. YouMa
My trace head sounds like a 747 throttling up,i quite like that though.
Shaggy
Fan on my QSC RMX-850 decidedly noisy, noticable at home (but not to the pooint of being a distraction) but inaudible at even very quiet gigging levels.
alexclaber
It's far quieter than my computer's and I gather is also quieter than those on the RMX series. Definitely not silent though so it depends how much constant white-ish noise bothers you. It's a hell of a lot of power for a Berg 1x12" though, I'm sure the Berg can't make actually make use of full power from a Shuttle 6.0. Could you not run the TC through the Shuttle's FX loop?
