steantval
I'm feeling really great at the moment due to some good news about a forthcoming gig that has been confirmed. My band "Stealer" have been confirmed as support slot to my musical heroes from my late teens (I'm over fifty) the great WISHBONE ASH featuring Andy Powell. WHOOPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE. OldGit
Is that the Argus Remastered tour? I think both versions of the band are out doing it. We had Ted Turner's one here last month A very influential band and album in my formative years as a bass player. Congratulations to you and your band. Where and when is the gig? gary mac
Still loving Argus, but still not managed to nail all of his bass lines. Great news, hope you enjoy.
BassBod
I used to love Martin Turner's sound - but looks like there are rival versions of WA these days?? Shame people can't get on..... Hope you enjoy the gig. Andy Powell always comes across as a nice bloke.

evilLordJuju
Martin Turners version is still out and about playing - saw them not so long ago, and MT is still using his 1960s Thunderbird. Sounds great of course. Obviously, for us bass-players, that is the line-up to catch! see his tour dates here http://www.wishboneash.co.uk/livedates/1.aspx

I've known Russ for many years; we played together in a prog rock band called `Cross Eyed Mary' which never got beyond rehearsals in '92 - great guy and great player - ask him about Miller! Lee is of course one of the area's leading exponents of the drum kit!
