Eight
OMG! The stuff you guys do for "fun" is the top end of "challenging" for me.... And I've been playing for 30 years!!!
Yeah I was just thinking that. Lol. My idea of fun right now is just to strum along to something. Tonight, since I can't face scales, arpeggios or any improv, I've just been playing along to the Ramones on YouTube - Pet Cemetary, I Wanna Be Sedated, Psychotherapy, 53rd & 3rd etc. Now that's fun! Although not for my neighbours who whilst probably used to the bass, could really do without my singing on a friday evening. Edit: Wayne... pure class! EdwardHimself
I personally love playing riffs on the low B string of my 5, such as machine head
thisnameistaken
For fun I like to sing and play tunes like Kinks, Housemartins, Cud, Elvis Costello, etc. Singing always cheers me up.
OldGit
Usually stick that canon from the Magic Roundabout theme in our gigs somewhere .. Just the first bit of this rendition Then for fun I'd add Schools out by Alice Cooper and Move on Up by Curtis Mayfield.
