Darkglass MT900v2 MIDI question

Does anybody know if the send/return on a MT900v2 is midi switchable or is it always in the circuit. I was hoping to move to MIDI control and switch a drive pedal in the loop without an additional MIDI loop switcher which would be overkill for one pedal.

I checked out the darkglass suite midi section but only see the channel, compressor, mute and cab sim options. There's one called 'bypass' but I think this is to bypass the cab sim?

I’ve never known a drive pedal to sound good in a loop.
