I met her in the lift in our hotel in Brighton. I carried her bag up the last flight of stairs.

It was a great gig

Met her again in the lift in the morning

Do you spend a lot of time hanging around hotel lifts?

I only ask because it seems to be working well for you!

I once met Felicity Kendall trying to find her way out of a car park and escorted her to the studio she was supposed to be in, but my daughter was named Suzi (though she adds an 'e' now) and not Felicity!!

She owns/owned a massive Elizabethan manor house out in the sticks which, back when I was a copper - I'd guess 1981 -was on my patch.  The alarm went off quite a lot, usually when she wasn't there, but one time when we arrived she was getting her shopping out of the boot of her Porsche.  Very friendly and down to earth lady.

Suzi Quatro and Felicity Kendal? That’s two of my first tv crushes right there.

Lets not forget Debbie Harry!

Same, although I’d add Susan Penhaligon well.

Wot no Agnetha Faltshog 😧

Agnetha was definitely in there. Susan Penhaligon too! Add Hot Gossip’s Donna Fielding to the mix and I’m done.
I think a few of us are rather giving away our ages here.😂

To be honest, as lovely as Miss Harry was, my teenage self found her a bit intimidating. In fact I probably still do!😂

I was always on the fence with Debbie. I loved Blondie as a band, but was never convinced she could sing well. She certainly had ‘something’ though.

Oh, and ill add Liz Hurley to my list 😌

My guitar playing nephew was on a tour with Ms Q (one of those multiple act affairs). He said she was lovely and is a really good pianist. She had a tough time with her ex hubby back in the day apparently.

So I’m guessing poster’s YOB roughly between 1964 and 1968?

Am I right? Well am I?

Fair point. Also, I seem to remember seeing a playing video of you a couple of years back and you’re no way as old a fart as I am.
