Magnolia Posted August 15, 2007 Posted August 15, 2007 (edited) Right, Here we go again. I have had this bass for about 2 weeks now. It really is a cracking jazz bass. Its just not getting played as much as my Geddy and/or my Rick so i thougt i'd put it up and try and get me another flea bass. The body is alder, not to be confused with the cheaper basswood ones. Finished in vintage white with a matching headstock. Nice slim maple neck with a rosewood fretboard and ivory binding. It has a vintage spiral bridge and US Vintage pickups. The serial dates it to 2004-2005 ® the bass is absolutely spotless. There are no marks on it at all. It still has the plactic on the pickguard. Will come with a fender gigbag. Pics..... Nick This is back up for sale on behalf of Fleamail who bought it off me, as he is lucky enough to buy the real thing. This needs to sell to help fund it. PM him if you are interesed Edited September 14, 2007 by Magnolia

E_MaN Posted August 15, 2007 Posted August 15, 2007 good luck getting another flea, they're lovely but feel of plastic doesn't feel the same to wood....bump
parker_muse Posted August 15, 2007 Posted August 15, 2007 I adore the binding, a bump on a great looking bass!
The Funk Posted August 15, 2007 Posted August 15, 2007 I was about to say, "whoa, binding, dots and a matching headstock = cool!"

Just when i bought it i had some spare cash and GAS got the beter off me. Can you blame me?! In reality i dont need another jazz bass. The money would be better spent on something i'd use more. Nick
Magnolia Posted August 16, 2007 Author Posted August 16, 2007 (edited) This is now sold. Nick Edited August 17, 2007 by Magnolia
s_u_y_* Posted August 18, 2007 Posted August 18, 2007 Not surprised this sold so quick at all! If I had a bass or two fewer, I would have jumped all over this.
fleamail Posted September 14, 2007 Posted September 14, 2007 This bass is amazing! But I have the change to buy an original 1966 so I have to let it go. The price is 510 pounds delivered
jay249 Posted September 14, 2007 Posted September 14, 2007 I hate to tread on your sale here and be a nasty bugger but I have a CAR version of this and I got it brand new from Ishibashi for just about 400 quid delivered. Sorry!

Sorry!
Including taxes?? Last time I checked with ishibashi for this bass they told me that they don't sell it. Also I got a quote for 550 pounds delivered and with taxes for another 62 reissue Jazz with US pickups and alder body. Anyway I am accepting offers for this one...
Magnolia Posted September 15, 2007 Author Posted September 15, 2007 Ishibashi dont do a 65 reissue do they? I cant see it on their site anyway. Nick
Guest Bald Eagle Posted September 15, 2007 Posted September 15, 2007 I'm lost is the bass still for sale?

fleamail Posted September 16, 2007 Posted September 16, 2007 Sorry for this being a little confusing, I'll try to clear things out 1. I am selling the bass 2. I am in Greece 3. The price is around 500 including delivery to UK (UPS 5-6 working days), I can accept offers...
BB2000 Posted September 16, 2007 Posted September 16, 2007 Just for interest, if they're 400 new from Japan, why do you think anyone would pay 500 for a used one from Greece?
Magnolia Posted September 16, 2007 Author Posted September 16, 2007 Im not going to get into an argumnet here, but where in japan are you seeing these for £400 delivered? includuding all taxes? Nick
