Like the look of this but once you start loading in the £200 delivery and whatever Customs come up with for import/tax it takes the shine off it...

Some USA sellers are a bit of a pain in the rectum when it comes to shipping but I suppose 'each to his own' when it comes to using a particular courier. However I have had basses shipped from the States (bolt-on necks removed) and shipping has cost £50-$70! I tend to think that shipping UK to The States is more expensive but I've shipped a couple of expensive (NT) Warwicks over the pond with full insurance and it cost about £100, shipping was 3/5 days door-to-door... not bad when one was delivered Boxing Day!

I didn't recall correctly - I've just looked it up and it was $115 fully insured. Even the cheapo SX bass I bought was only $63, and that arrived in 8 days
