isteen Posted May 31, 2020 Posted May 31, 2020 (edited) Can I get THIS online in Europe? Those $12 brass gadgets will cost me around $60 to import to Denmark Edited May 31, 2020 by isteen Quote
John Cribbin Posted May 31, 2020 Posted May 31, 2020 My first thought would be, why do you need these? Pickup height should be adjusted to sound best to your ear, no guage will tell you when the guitar sounds best. If you do want brass, just buy some brass rod from a model shop if you have one locally, or on ebay. Personally, one of these fits 90% of my setup needs: 1 Quote
itu Posted May 31, 2020 Posted May 31, 2020 I put them so high, that they touch the strings, when playing. Then turn the screws until the strings do not hit the pickups any more. Simple as that. Quote
itu Posted May 31, 2020 Posted May 31, 2020 (edited) Ok, few more words. My hard playing and style overall differs from yours. Because of that your pickup height is different than mine. If you need to adjust the balance between the pickups, height adjustment is your friend, too. Edited May 31, 2020 by itu Learning to write. Quote
blisters on my fingers Posted May 31, 2020 Posted May 31, 2020 Wouldn't a set of allen keys or hex keys be just as good ? 1 Quote

inthedoghouse Posted June 4, 2020 Posted June 4, 2020 I just set mine high and then adjust down until I can't hear the effect of the magnets on the strings at the highest frests. Quote
