Anyone familiar with using garage band and a USB desk?

I’ve laid down the bass and drums and emailed it to Mrs Ubit’s brother who is rather a dab hand at guitaring. I never thought about how he would do this. Anyone know how to get the m4a file to open on garage band so that you can edit it?

Just spoke to Mrs Ubits brother and that’s what he did. Cheers bud. I sent a complete file. I’ll need to try sending it differently so that he gets both editable files.
