Fantastic! Thanks for the link, Jack.

Despite what Steve Howe says in the interviews, I thought the mix was pretty good - Chris Squire sounds epic.

The standout for me, though, is Steve Howe’s solo in Yours Is No Disgrace.

Really enjoyed the whole thing 🤓

Great find @Happy Jack

Graced the same stage in 80’s with school choirs and early bands.. Wasn’t until the internet arrived and we’d all left town, we discovered most of the urban legends of bands people said they’d seen there, were actually true.

Yep, was a great venue, saw many great bands there, Undertones, Stiff Little Fingers and Stranglers to name a few.

Only got to play there once, it was a local Bandsearch competition. We knew we were rubbish so sent in someone else’s tape and got to the final. Which was very punk rock of us. They changed the rules of the competition after that.

Back in the day when there were record fairs and people would turn up with cassettes of bootleg stuff (often with their own made up titles and home printed inlay cards) these Sounding Out sessions with interviews would be fairly regular features or the extracted interviews would pop up on other Yes gigs from a different era to fill the tape and give value for money.
