MODDING MY 89/90 ENCORE P BASS.

Hi folks.

I own an old 89/90 Encore P bass, and thought I would ask advice on modding...harnesses and pickups etc. She deserves brightening up. I've had her for years. All advice welcome. Please share your ideas.

Hi Col,

If your bass is still in it's original form and you've had it a long time then maybe it's best to leave it as it is and buy another bass to use alongside this one. One persons 'carefully modded' bass is another persons 'non original'  (or 'wrecked') and these can be very difficult to sell on., and you'll also be very unlikely to get back what you've spent. But other opinions are available.

Thanks musicbassman for your opinion. Strangely enough, I slowly came around to the same thoughts about keeping original. Good excuse to get another bass too!!!
