I bought these brand new and just put them on my bass today. They sound great but the tension is too light for my taste. Played for less than an hour and taken off again.

Cut for a Lakland 44-60 (standard jazz headstock).

Ah I was a month ago - and then I gave up on my experiment with chromes and that bass came alive with rounds. I do want to try Ti jazz flats sometimes but might need a different bass to try it on first! (Or a B string!!)

I have the Thomastik JF 344 on my Takamine TB 10, as the action is quite high, I like the low tension, gives me an old school double bass style sound.
