bigdumby Posted June 16, 2020 Posted June 16, 2020 I didn't know that Ibanez has a custom shop? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/124225115577?ul_noapp=true Quote
Bassassin Posted June 16, 2020 Posted June 16, 2020 It's a mess, and it's also not an AFR. That's an EDA905, the plastic-bodied semi-reissue of the AFR from about 15 years ago. Nice enough basses, but they go for about £300 when they dont have muck all over them. 1 Quote

Looks like said person has sanded through the paint to the “luthite” body. They don’t often turn up in good nick - a shame, Quote

From bitter experience, I know that cracking in the hard outer shell of the luthite body acts as a weakness and makes the lower horn very fragile. And the upper horn too, I have no doubt. Avoid like the plague. Quote
yorks5stringer Posted June 21, 2020 Posted June 21, 2020 Relisted and sold for £200, bit less than the £1000 being asked for it originally. Quote
Jean-Luc Pickguard Posted June 27, 2020 Posted June 27, 2020 The finish makes it look like its been flayed. 1 Quote
