It’s probably a decent buy at £190.... if you can live with the look

It says in the add. The paint stripper ran so he painted a white stripe around the edge to mask it. 

Presumably with a tree branch.

People accuse Yamaha basses of being a bit generic.... this one not so much

Possibly less the perils of paint stripper and more the horrendous job it is to remove those think poly finishes! All those nasty relic jobs on cheap Fender / Fender copies, a complete nightmare to sort out!

Ran out of paint & had to resort to chalk for the stripe. Happens to everyone.

I do quite like the look, if it were better executed. 

To be fair he was trying to repair a problem rather just thinking this'll look cool, he just ran out of f**ks half way through.
