I see the cart page even says "Test Mode — No money will be collected" 🙄  Perhaps you can call them and buy it over the phone?

I've sometimes found that even with vat getting them from Best Bass Gear in the USA is cheaper.

There's nothing on that website that convinces me that it is/was an official EMG site.

It appears to be running on WordPress 3.4.1 meaning it hasn't been updated since 2012. The ecommerce plugin it is using is one which was last updated four years ago, is no longer available to download from WordPress.org, and is no longer maintained or supported.

Oddly enough I was talking to a chap at Andertons about this - they say it is legit but purely a test site and "non functional" as there is currently only a sole distributer /supplier for EMG in the UK. Dont quote me though - he may be wrong.

I recently bought a preamp directly from their US site. They could not have been more helpful, pickups arrives fast, and only a small duty surcharge to pay.

They even built a left-handed version for me at no extra charge.
