Well as for gigging it's been used in conjunction with an Ampeg 210, my bass has two jacks-I've done a few pub gigs and it's been fine for that! Clubs etc I tend to use both... As for price I've had a peek at e-bay and there's been odd ones that go for up to around £250ish so I'd be happy with around £220 give or take.
